Billie McNett – Lead Teacher
Hello, my name is Billie McNett. I have been involved with Dubow Preschool for five years now, as my daughter has been coming here since she was 3 months old, when I started taking her to Shalom Baby. Now she is in Tzeeporim (VPK) and my son, who is almost 3, attends here as well. I have always been drawn to the family-like atmosphere here at Dubow preschool and have loved helping with class projects for my kids’ class, mystery reading, and chaperoning field trips. After being a stay-at-home-mom for five years, and being a Nanny, I was ready to work in a more professional setting with children and Dubow Preschool was calling my name. I substituted in the Doobonim class for several months and was then offered a position as Lead Teacher for the Doobonim 2 class, debuting January, 2014, which I am very excited about.
I reside in Jacksonville with my husband Ben, daughter Nina, and son Mayer. We have a cat, two fish and just recently got a labradoodle puppy named Duke. We love to hang out as a family and we spend a lot of time outdoors. I have a bachelor degree in Health Services Administration from Drexel University and in my “extra” time, I love to read and do crafts. I truly look forward to helping your little ones learn and grow, and even thrive, during their time with us.
Katherine Purser – Assistant Teacher
Hi! My name is Katherine Purser, and I am thrilled to be assisting Billie with the Doobonim Class! I graduated from Southeastern University in 2011 with a B.A. in Piano Performance and just recently moved to Jacksonville from Melbourne, FL, where I was teaching piano and music classes. Working with children is one of my passions, so it thrills me to have this opportunity to interact with your sweet babies! I am so looking forward to getting to know them and yourselves this year.
